About Kate
Kate Morrison (formerly Bray) began classical vocal training in the late 1980s. She studied and performed throughout high school participating in regional and state competitions for classical vocal music, placing in the top 10 classical vocalists in the State of Oregon in 1991, and was awarded the National Arion Award for Music that year.
She is a 1995 Whitman College graduate in cultural anthropology (of all things). She has performed in the Northwest with various blues and jazz groups, but is most excited about singing with The Crocodiles, for obvious reasons: These guys are amazing.
She is a self-employed graphic designer, writer and nonprofit consultant, and has recently launched a membership-based web site encouraging community philanthropy, DonateWise.com.
